Who you calling well-off tho? Tell that to my financial aid adviser, who informed me I was the only one at the college I worked hard to get into that is poor enough to qualify for EVERY possible grant.
I mean like, gal, people in my family have stories about their Christmas present being an orange. I lived in a town for 18 years where coming out was a social (and maybe even literal) death sentence.
I get Bernie's ideology, and I get the vision he has. I feel what he wants, and ideologically, I'd argue I might even be more liberal than the Bern himself. But can we actually do all of it? Can we achieve majority votes in Congress and defend everything in court? Can we make all the policies work properly? Can we actually get him elected, or even nominated, in the face of the GOP, conservatives, and moderate Democrats?
When it comes to voting record, Hillary isn't that far right of Bernie. When it comes to polling, Hillary has surged ahead of him, and not just because of people with my views. When it comes to electability, Hillary once again leads every single Republican in general election matchups.
It's just clear to me that she's not that much less progressive when comparing everyone to the likes of Obama or Biden or the GOP, will be much more likely to win the general, and will likely have plans and proposals that jive better with a potential GOP retention of Congress.
