LMAO at there being talk of them completely ending the era after releasing one more single!
That's not how capitalizing on hype & success works in the music industry y'all. It doesn't matter if the artist is tired of the material and want to move on, there's no way the label doesn't try their best to squeeze out a couple other Fancy like hits from this album cycle!
Iggy already said she's gonna start recording on new stuff this summer and how stoked she is, and she can do that while the label works on releasing a few more singles after Fancy in the Fall/Winter. I bet they don't even really look at it as the 3rd single out here in the US, I bet they see those other ones as buzz singles. They'll attempt two more at the least imo.
Anyway, keep slaying Fancy!! Prolong your era!! YASS!

It's not like the album is the best-seller so far, it's doing great for what we expected of Iggy but I'm 80% sure "capitalizing on her hype & success" will end up being a re-release or an actual entire new project with bigger names, etc. I still say we will only get one actual new single from TNC as we currently know/heard it.

What I think you don't completely understand about a re-release is that it cost more money to do (physical albums, shipping and all that good stuff) and that wouldn't make sense to do so early on in the album cycle. They would do something like that after about two maybe even three more singles, if they really tried to milk this era. I could see Fancy maybe going platinum, I could see TNC selling close to 150k-200k after all is said and done with it too. Any single released after that, and if done properly with good promo in line and being sent to the proper radio formats in a timely matter, would be a moderate success. Iggy has hype beyond JUST Fancy right now too, all the teens love her style and music. She's the "cool new rap it girl", there's interest there beyond just her die hard fan base like us!
Why would her label ignore ALL of that just to move onto a NEW album that will cost more money to do rather than capitalize on what they have with TNC right now, and not having to spend much more? Its all about making as much profit while the hype is there, and prolonging that hype as long as they can, without having to spend a ton of money.
Joao sis, your pessimism is BEYOND! Its like you have the most negative (without being a hater) view of anything having to do with TNC and Iggy.

I still stand by my opinion, we'll see what happens after the Summer is done (and I'd be ok with either situation so it's not really pessimism in this case cuz it's a win/win for me at this point, lol)

I agree with MOST of your points but fancy "maybe" going platinum? is already past the 500k sales so I'm sure it will at LEAST sell 2 million.

I worded it that way to make Joao's negative ass not dismiss any of my other points!!
Plus I wasn't aware of her exact sales. I can see it reaching close to or just at 2 mill once it's peaked and fallen.

Black widow, Fk love (since she wants it) and end with Goddess
THEN come with a late summer single in 2015 with a November 2015 album release with bigger success.
No re-release.
Let this album go gold
Her follow up if released at the end of 2015 could go platinum.

In my opinion Work (again) should be 4th, then Black Widow 5th, then I don't know after that.
And yeah, Fancy will definitely go platinum lol. It'll be a multi-platinum hit for sure, it's too high on iTunes not to at this point.

They might as well just send Fancy to the urban stations, since it's already top 100 there I think.

Ideally, this is what should happen with Iggy:
- ride out Fancy till atleast August.
- re-release Work in USA
- snag a nomination or win at the VMAs, perform with a small Fancy intro into Work to help the song
- do ALOT of good promo spots like Ellen, SNL
- release Black Widow either end of the year or beginning of 2015
- hopefully be nominated for a Grammy, if so perform Black Widow with Rita there and completely slay
- go with 100 or Goddess as summer single then new album end of 2015
if she wants a constant flow of success, and her album to go Gold I think this is her best bet
