Rosalina is the one true Queen, but I wouldn't mind kicking people's asses as Striker Daisy. She's behind like 15 other characters to become DLC tho so she probably won't get her chance for this game.
I really want to see the next Smash be directed by someone new and developed by Nintendo. Sakurai is an icon, but I don't know if he can handle making another game bigger than what we have. Nintendo could provide a fresh approach to the series, and hire a bigger team to help develop more content before and after release. A Smash game with 75-100 characters wouldn't be too farfetched imo.

I only want 15-20 new characters for the next game and the story mode back, tbh.
Striker Daisy would actually be fun and I could live with Daisy since Tails (whom she relentlessly rips-off) will never make it.
Btw, where do you see whose up for DLC? Did the ballots start to get counted yet

There's no official ballot results, but based on early poll results + other factors, we can guess which fighters are more likely to become DLC.
Most likely (99.99-70%): Wolf, Isaac (Golden Sun), King K. Rool
Likely (70-45%): Bandanna Dee, Inkling, Dixie Kong, Chibi-Robo, Captain Toad
Okay chance (45-20%): Wonder Red, Daisy, Ice Climbers, Krystal, Paper Mario, Chorus Kids, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Pichu, Impa, Banjo & Kazooie, Rayman, Shantae, Snake, Professor Layton
Negligible (20-1%): Young Link, Bayonetta, Tails, Sceptile, Geno, Shovel Knight, etc.

paper mario would actually be a gr8 addition with his hammer and multiple games to pick stuff out of...
here for tails, paper mario, striker daisy, inkling, and ice climbers getting added

I hate SSB4 fans  If any of the bolded get in, I will be pissed. Wolf would be the absolute worst.
I put in names like Banjo & Kazooie, Yooka & Laylee (I know that's never happening but the name being put in might help one day), Bayonetta, Amaterasu, Medusa, Princess Midna, etc.

Wait a minute what is going on with all the Dixie hate..
Did you guys know she has been in more Donkey Kong games than Donkey Kong himself? She was one of the very first female Nintendo characters besides Samus to get her own game? She has tons of moveset possibilities and she a very recognizable character. Almost an icon. There is very few "icons" nintendo has yet to put in smash, with Toad and some other mario characters being the only real "icons" IE being recognized by even non-gamers. Next up is Dixie. And quite a few bars lower is K Rool, Ridley, and even Inklings are working their way up.
I mean you can't just add a character because they're a cute female.. You have to consider relavancy, history with nintendo, representation of the series, etc.
Donkey Kong only has 2 characters and is in Nintendo's Top 5 franchises. DK could easily get away with 4 playable characters. Dixie definitely in. K Rool is pretty irrelevant nowadays but if he has another appearance soon I can see him returning.
Wario and Metroid both deserve 1 more rep. Ashley or Mona for Wario, and Metroid or Dark Samus for Metroid.
Okami is in my Top 10 games of all time but no way in hell does Amaterasu deserve in. I love her but she has no significant ties to Nintendo. There is wayyyy better choices for a 3rd party fighter. I would add Black Mage from Final a fantasy as the next 3rd party fighter for Smash 5.
I would loveee Bayonetta but at the same time I don't see her getting in at all. Too sexy, too dependent on guns. They would get rid of her signature gun heels, and censor her wicked weave and at that point it's not even Bayonetta anymore.. But hey maybe they could make her work. Personal bias makes me reaaaalllyyyy want her but I know there is better 3rd party options.
