1. Gypsy: My favorite track from the album. I feel a personal connection to the lyrics due to me growing up as a military brat and never staying in one place longer than a year or two. The only problem I have with it is the ending feels like someone just hit fast forward on the track, I wanted it to sound slower and more emotional.
2. G.U.Y: I was surprised by how much I liked this. I love the references to Greek mythology on this album. The introduction is one of the best I've heard from any song. And I love her vocals in the song.
3. MANiCURE: This song slayed me the second I heard the new chorus. A very positive change, even though I had no problem with the Swinefest version. I love the production.
4. Sexxx Dreams: At first I was kind of upset by the extra "You were in my" in the chorus, but I've grown to love them. And I LOVE what she added to the rest of the chorus. I still have no idea what she is saying during the bridge though
But I feel this song shows off her amazing vocals. I wish she sang like this more often.
5. Donatella: I was not looking forward to this song at all. Not really into the "fashion" songs. But the beat and her cockiness in the song slayed me. Will probably grow on me more the more I listen to it.
6. Fashion!: Another one that surprised me with how much I like it. I would like to see more Will I Am collabs in the future. The reference to Marry The Night and the note she held in this song
7. Dope: I LOVE THIS SONG! I don't know why cause I was one of those who hated IWBWU. But I feel the harshness of her vocals really adds to the emotion of this song.
8. ARTPOP: SOOOOOOOOOO glad the Hee Hees are still in, even if it's really low and very short. But I love this song, and the way she sings the first verse and the final "Free my mind ARTPOP....You make my heart stop" is heavenly.
9. Swine: I've always loved Swine. The beat makes me want to get up and just pound something
I love both the verses, but I wish the ending was more crazy and had the squeals she did during Swinefest.
10. Do What U Want: This is currently my most played Gaga song on my iTunes. It slays so much, and R Kelly is the perfect person to collab with on it. I love both of their vocals, and the high notes he hits kill me. Love the lyrics and dual meaning....overall one of the best tracks on ARTPOP.
11. Venus: I love how experimental and messy it is. I agree it would probably fail as a single, but it will remain an amazing album track nonetheless. The chorus is probably one of her best.
12. Jewels N' Drugs: I hated it the first time I heard it, but it's really grown on me. Not exactly my type of music, but I like it! Love Twista's verse.
13. Aura: I still have not gotten used to the new vocals during the verses. But I like the chorus and the Dance, Sex, Art, Pop part. I would have preferred G.U.Y as the album opener imo.
14. Applause: I love how she sings the verses, very dramatic. Almost reminds me of Kate Bush's The Dreaming, but I feel the production kind of makes the chorus too messy. I
15. Mary Jane Holland: Only listened to the full thing twice. I tried and tried to like it but I get so bored. The chorus's lyrics are boring to me, and I hate that the production drowns out her voice. I'll try to give it another shot but to me it's the only one that I always skip over on the album.
Overall I love the album. I just wish some of the song's had clearer vocals, don't know why she likes to drown out her voice.
