No one hates it, it's just that people (including me) find it disappointing. They're allowed to say so and discuss it with people who don't agree.
If you don't like that people don't agree with you you probably shouldn't be on a forum.

I never relized how messy the show this season was till you all pointed it out, I knew this season was a bit messy with the constant deaths but I never thought about the pointless plot tie ins.

Been lurking this thread for a while now, since I started watching Asylum I have a small question, is season 1 worth watching? It looks boring tbh..
Asylum was amazing! And Coven is good too

You're one of those people that when you like something, every single thing about it is positive and you can't look at flaws at all. You're biased, so your opinion is irrelevant.

Or maybe some members are simply exaggerating with pointing out its flaws.

MH is definitely worth watching, it's better than Coven imo. It's not boring, just the theme is less complex than Asylum/Coven, but it's really entertaining.

I'm still hoping for a season that revolves around demons.

I like how Coven is. It's a mess with something weird or esatic always happening.

I'd hardly say me stating this is my favorite show but keeps undoing development is exaggerating.

That would actually make sense if I had ever stated that I thought this season was perfect.
See you next Wednesday

I love Coven. My major gripe, and it's been bothering me for awhile is that 80% of the plot really was just there to waste time. That really bothers me now that we're down to 2 episodes left. Heres some examples (I have many more):
Madison's death+The neighbors
Luke and his mother was basically only used to help discover the girl's new powers and that witch hunters were after them. Those two ideas could have been discovered in much less time. And I wished they were discovered using actual horror witchy stuff. Madison's death really served no purpose at all. She came back, Fiona is still walking around not giving a ****, and neither is anyone else. It's almost as if everyone is sitting around waiting to die. Which is a waste of time since no one has sought justice and they can be brought right back to life. And when they did try to kill Fiona, she didn't fall for it and they literally let it go the next morning.
Nan's death
Why? She was just manifesting powers that could protect the coven, and actually growing as a character, then she'd murdered? And right after Papa told Fiona he wouldn't make the deal with her. Wtf. And did Marie just forget that she kidnapped someone's baby for her sacrafice? And he sudden rise to power, then letting them take her out so easily I just....
Character Motives
It literally makes no sense why Fiona wants to kill the next Supreme. She keeps ridiculing Cordelia for endangering the coven, when she herself is trying to kill everyone off. Does she not know if she kills the next Supreme she will be the same old woman with cancer and will just die a bit slower, with no coven to run. It is a motive that does nothing for the plot and it's now the center of it.
Marie wanting to kill the witches. She was a voodoo queen living in the same city as the HQ for the witches and she hired and already witch hunter to do a job he was already doing. When she had their location and the resouces to take them out. Hank was there for YEARS and she was across town waiting. That makes no sense.
Kyle and Zoe
This storyline is doing nothing for the plot. Without Kyle, Zoe would still be a basic bitch walking around clueless. With Kyle, she still is, it's just that Kyle is there now.
The lack of horror and witch stuff.
The intro is literally the most creepiness/horror I've experienced the entire season. I wanted human sacrifices, cursing spells, and more magic. It's entertaining, but missing a few elements I expected from a show of it's name and reputation.
With more episodes and a better plot, this could have been the best season hands down. I still love the shift from Asylum and the season overall. For everything it's missing, it has sort of made up for it with how generally entertaining it is. But with only 2 episodes left I need them to bring it.

Season one is AAAAMAAZING! All three seasons are literally really good. Season 1 is what enabled American Horror Story to become what it is today. Please don't skip the first season its a must watch. Literally perfect in every way.

Literally all of this. It seems like a lot of the plot is just unnecessary filler that could've been cut down so much less complexly. My biggest problem above anything else though is the constant backtracking. Literally 75% of stuff that happens just gets undone one or two episodes later and it's so irritating.
Aren't Zoe and Kyle coming back next episode? What was even the point of them leaving? They may as well have just stayed.
It seems like they just start unnecessary storylines to fill in the necessary time gaps
