So I have two big Marina tattoos on both of my arms and I love every little thing she does, but I don't think it's quite hit me yet that I have a new Marina album. I mean, I love EVERYTHING from FROOT, but does anyone know what I mean?

So tonight it dawned on me that "Better Than That" might be addressed to Burns, assuming the female of the song is Ellie Goulding. Marina and Burns dated in early 2013 and then kind of faded away and weren't seen together, and Ellie collaborated with Burns later that year with "Midas Touch" on her re-release.
It makes sense to assume that "I'm a Ruin" and "Blue" are about Burns since he's the only person Marina has acknowledged dating since EH. "Better Than That" has lyrics I know you've been feeling sad, I have no right to be mad, which sound like they're probably about the same person Marina was singing about in "I'm a Ruin". Considering the timing of everything, I'm going to guess that's what that situation was all about.
