I did take a super old blog post of Halsey's tho and create a song from it though. I just formed the lyrics from her words basically just as a fun exercise. Nothing serious or anything and it came out pretty good. Not that that has anything to with this

There's only so much you can really do with the first few challenges TBH. I've tried to pick one that is simple enough as a introduction to the season, and particularly open for the writer to do whatever they want, but not overly taxing for the judges to read through.

I'm definitely not repeating Intros/Interludes/Outros. That's been done to death and is kinda dull as far as creativity goes (especially if you've already done that challenge before)

Kinda excited to see what you come up with. Intros and Interludes (let me ignore ClarksonFat's addition of Outros because it makes no sense!) was a really easy and obvious season starter and was quite practical and I thought it was better to make a short, complete song than the standard "one verse one chorus of an incomplete song" that was done a few times before it. So yeah I'm excited to see how it gets shaken up once again. Change is good.
