I have to ask, who controls the votes/election? Here in Venezuela we have an electoral centre (It should be independent, but the goverment has really big influence there) That center receives the votes and then shows the results, is something like that there? Because during the primaries and the last election I remember media predicting results, but not like an official source. Sorry about my english.

Mine is messy because I'm a moderate independent. It all depends on who the candidate is, that's why I've supported Jill and Bernie because I do hold progressive views but I realized writing in Bernie or voting Jill would be useless so I'm voting for the most effective candidate. Trump is not even an extreme Republican I firmly believe he is hijacking a lot of their views + the party in order to gain votes. This is why I believe he won't overturn the abortion laws or the gay marriage laws and many other Republican-President actions.

lol Americans are scared of "socialist" because many are selfish. They don't want to pay tax at all, let alone at a higher tax rate. My best friend lives in Australia and pays higher tax than I and she is fine with it; however, the minimum wage there doubles here.
