Yep. I hope everyone thinks their concept through before submitting, cause this round relies on the concept almost as much as it relies on the content
But in all honesty, after the songwriting challenge proved to be a more difficult task than I had thought ( ), I did replace some of the really difficult challenges with easier and more broad ones. You should have seen what the original idea for round 8 was

If you hadn't admitted you're going to use an already half written song, noone would know and noone would mind

But in all honesty, noone can really control whether all contestants use brand new songs or songs they've already written that happen to fit the theme. We obviously prefer the former though.

Well, I had to as I did show the original to a couple of other contestants for feedback, and I didn't want to risk an exposé.

If you already showed it to other contestants, yet didn't submit it, that basically kinda makes it a reject from a former round. I still can't forbid you to use it, but I guess I can say only use it if you really can't come up with anything else

It wasn't for the challenge! I wanted feedback because I was worried I wouldn't be able to write a good whole song. This was before the challenge was announced in round 2.

Exactly. Live shows are about getting to the strongest of the strongest. Some of us fall early (like myself) and some later on. Live shows aren't supposed to be easy so you're doing a great job giving challenging rounds . Although I'd probably cry again if I was still in .
