SM's choruses have been a mess but then it just hits you and you're so into it.
The only SM choruses that have slayed me on the instant would be Spellbound and Everybody.
I don't use f(x), I only like Red Light, Rum Pum Pum Pum & Electric Shock...
I don't really use them either, but I will say that Electric Shock is one of my favorite Kpop songs, ever. I get life from it now the same way I did when I first heard it.
Yeah, I always thought it was to focus on the talent because SM made them sing live too, which we all know isn't required these days if your name isn't Taeyeon or Seohyun
SM aren't slick for not giving Yoona any solo lines, but having her front and centre for the choruses
But then f(x) mimed here and were also pretty bare faced
Knowing SM, it's probably that they don't give them a budget for "extra" until they believe they earned it. But since K-Pop's visuals have changed, they can't do that anymore really... EXO got it a lot easier. I can't imagine Kris debuting back then

Actually, SNSD lipped their true debut stage, too. They debuted on Inkigayo a week before the other shows. They always sang live on MuBank and MuCore, but on Inki and Mnet they always lipped and had those tiny tiny face mics.
Top but before f(x) had an identity so it doesn't fit their image now but still a bop, and would be SHINee's 3rd or 4th best single (the MJ-ish sound stinks of SHINee) if it was recorded by them

No I meant that EXO and GG's top tiers only reach f(x)'s bottom tier If Electric Shock was recorded by either it would be their best song, but for f(x) it's merely average THAT's how godly f(x) is
It sucks that most groups don't perform with the same hunger they had when they were rookies.
I'd attribute that hunger to the literal hunger pangs they were experiencing and would continue to experience if they didn't pull off a performance well enough.

Also just gonna sneak this out there, I think TVXQ will be making another comeback in August. They've been spotted at SM Building pretty frequently lately and that only seems to happen with them when they're rehearsing for something. It could of course just be rehearsals for SMTOWN but given all the rumours of them recording two full albums to commemorate their 10 year anniversary I suspect and hope and pray that it's the latter.
