I think insta grats are not counted on UK charts at all. Iirc that was the reason why Out of the woods was never released as the promo single there

That's outdated, from April 2013. The rules have changed since and the last major song to be affected by that was DWUW before it was discontinued in 2014 (the same instant grat sales stopped affecting the iTunes chart).
