The question about finishing the album before releasing a single was great. Good information for us to know.
It means they'll be ensuring the lead single is the best possible selection from the album. And the album will be fully fleshed out and complete before she starts hyping. It's good. Everything will be set to go before she gets distracted by promo.

What's not to understand about it? If she had to start the promo for whatever debut single she is releasing, then that would distract her from focussing on finishing the album. She has to have a clear mind and time on her hand to give it her all in the studio with any songs that aren't done and recorded yet.
this album is going nowhere as far as we can tell, no idea when it might be released.
