For a Grass type, Tangrowth is good. I'd probably go with Breloom (dual typing has great coverage + access to Spore), but you can only get a Shroomish the Safari Zone, I think.
Dusknoir is good for a more defensive ghost type (with a decent attack), though it needs a trade to evolve. Mismagius is good for a faster and more offensive ghost. Alakazam (also needs a trade to evolve...) + Gardevoir (also Gallade) are good psychic types.
Arcanine's probably your best option for a Fire type.
I haven't played it in a good two-three weeks.
