As soon as the other members started talking about doing the line-ups, set lists and stuff, I realised I wouldn't feel very happy with other group members doing it because I felt that I would be able to do it the strongest because I have all the knowledge of the artists (their songs, how long they would need for their sets, what order they should go in to compliment each other)
It was getting closer and closer to the deadline, and I had a free day, so I did most of the work and said that any other members could take credit for whatever I did because I felt bad about doing it. I gave C/H/A/N/E/L the job of writing the article, the description, and Madonna's set list, and Legend E wrote the activities (something I didn't even ask them to do, so it was really nice of them to think outside the box and do something extra). I couldn't think of any other way for the other two to contribute because I just liked being able to get it done on my own, but I guess they could have done what Legend E did and went for something extra, as I pretty much operated as a three-in-one Project Manager/Organiser/Advertiser so I guess it was the role titles holding us back from doing more as I essentially took people's roles as I felt I would be more efficient for them.
Everyone was active in the Google Doc and helped to give me advice with what to do though (told me things I should take into consideration with festivals)
I just enjoyed doing it on my own. I was really so very happy to let everyone take credit for whatever, because I really didn't think I'd have to be in this position where I talk about what happened. I low-key thought we were going to win it because it was cohesive and I did a lot of interesting extras (the website, the setlists) to make us stand out.
I was genuinely shocked at the negative critiques if I'm honest. I spent hours and hours on this challenge and I thought it was gonna pay off.

I actually think I can work very well with others when I'm not the leader. I like being given tasks to do.

Don't write me off now though. I said that I should be eliminated because I didn't want to spill what happened as I felt embarrassed about doing it, but now that my cards are on the table, judge this as you will Drip.

I think I have an incredible amount more to offer this competition, and a lot more time to do it now. I work well under direction from others and I think I've proved to be a very hard worker.

Yes it is true that mxtthew took over most of the project, but he did ask all of us for opinions on things and we all thought they were fantastic ideas. I would like to point out that I did ask for direction on what to do to contribute, but perhaps my part was already taken care of. Knowing now what he was going through, I wish he would have let me contribute more than just offering opinions on some things so that he didn't have that on his shoulders on top of already difficult real world problems.
I feel that mxtthew did a great job considering how everything played out.

omg Guero baby thank you for being so kind about this
I just think that no matter who did what, we worked together well as a team. In one way or another, everyone played their role and the whole challenge is well.
I don't want to sound bitter about it, but given the criteria, I wish the judges would reassess this because I think we should have won. I don't wanna sound too bitter about it but we matched the criteria, and then used the criteria to add our own unique touches (we took the Organiser role further by me doing a set list for every single act, we took the Advertiser role further by me making a website). I just think we nailed it really based on what you wanted.

I really didn't know what to ask Guero and XL to do to contribute because I had it under control. Much like Legend E did, I guess I could have asked them to contribute by asking them to do something outside their roles, so I think our problems are with the assigned roles holding us back as a group.
We did what was asked, and then a lot extra and kept it WITHIN the actual roles. There can't have been that much point doing too much extra because that wasn't what the challenge was, but I admit I made a mistake not telling XL and Guero to go further and do more.

My issue with the entry was that there was too much going on + it didn't feel realistic in scope. All three entries had an immense amount of work put in, so I had to judge based on what seemed likely to succeed and likely to exist. If you put in all the work, then use that as leverage to try to stay.

It's really sad one of us has to go. Matthew has done so much beautiful work for the entry it honestly hurts that we're in the bottom. Praying for you, bro.
And thanks for saving me. I really appreciate it

ok here's my thing.
The first time the round was announced, I was like "eh, I guess I can't help much for our team this time" cause I literally have no idea about music festivals so I find the challenge kinda hard. mxtthew offers to be our project manager and I was very glad when he gave us ideas about what to do and what would be the perfect setup for the festival. I find it really confusing cause I'm not much into that kind of music but I find the idea very interesting so I supported it. I was really impress of mxtthew's dedication to the game and I regret not having any contribution for the challenge except for some advices. I actually offer to be the one to make the poster but I wasn't really sure if I can give my best shot for it so I was hesitated but I'm actually willing to cause I have some backgrounds in making graphics. But mxtthew did it so he really deserves to stay. I might say the poster is simple but elegant. Who am I to criticize it btw if I actually didn't do anything at all? . Overall, Town's entry was really great so great job mxtthew
If I ever get saved this round, I will promise that I'll do my best to finally cooperate with you guys. It's just that my mind doesn't feed anything in the 1st round yet. .... Just keep me
I don't want Guero to leave too but one of us must leave so

Okay okay. I've heard enough I've had to hear. It was an interesting night in the boardroom with a lot of flip flopping, which is good. It shows some of you really want to play the game. I understand working soooooo hard on an entry and the judges telling you "it has this problem and this problem and you're last." Trust me, I've been around the games section a few times and submitted many stunning entries that I thought were good. So has Citrus and so has Hugmari. Its easy to feel discouraged when it happens but keep on trucking on ! Sometimes life gives you lemonade but you don't have any sugar.
Anyways, there's my wisdom for this challenge. I still have to fire someone and I know who it is:
Xedretinz Lododnz
You're fired. Participation is key here and you need to throw yourself into the mix. It was hard between you and Guero considering you two both said you did nothing, but he was more around at least. I should honestly fire you both but its the start of the game and Team Town shouldn't suffer this bad right now.

I feel so guilty but thank you Drip for this. I'm really excited to do a challenge without being Project Manager and get back to my usual submissive self.

Welcome back apprentices, last challenge you all did well. I know it was a big one, but hey what a way to start of the season right! This season we're gonna focus on one of my favorite subjects! Fashion. We have three clients who all want to start their own fashion line and have reached out to you guys to make it happen. Each member of the board knows the client very well, almost like they were faves or something lol. They have been assigned to you guys at random.
Team Town: Cher
Team Mafia: Kesha
Team Chaos: Lana Del Rey
You guys are to have four categories for your fashion line: Casual Wear, Evening/Black Tie, Night On The Town, and Bridal. You must have at LEAST two looks for each category, but no more then five. Our clients want something that represents them and their career and aesthetic.
As always here are the roles for this challenge:
Project Manager: You guys must have a new Project Manager! Project Managers duties will be a finalization of all the looks presented to you. You guys are the final decision, so make sure you know what you're doing.
Two/Three Designers: The designers jobs will be well, to design the looks! Remember, think about the artist and who she is and what she would want her clothing line to look like. Think of her music, her music videos and performances. Remember though, at least two for each category and no more then five. Divide it up how you please.
One/Two Presenters: Your job will be to present the clothes to us, and by present I mean write up a cute niche summary of each category and the looks in them. Tell us why these looks serve your artist and tell us why it appeals to them. Sell the garment! Make us want it.
I know the whole one/two thing might confuse people, but its because one team has less then five people. So you can divide these roles as you please as long as you have one of each. So you can do Two designers and two presenters, three designers and one presenter for example.
Some Tips:
- You guys don't actually have to hand draw any looks (doesn't mean you can't if you want!) . Polyvore is a great and easy place to make your pieces from and they have a wide variety of clothing as well. There's even a mens section if you wanna do that. It is also free on the App store and the Android store as well.
- Collages or "inspiration boards" are also allowed.
- Remember, TEAMWORK.
Entries Are Due:
Monday, June 6th @ 6PM PST
