My Arena is good but I don't prefer it over anything we have yet. Reaper is also far from single material but it's such a grower and it's nice to hear Sia on a more unconventional uplifting song rather than some of her work that has become cliche (Bird Set Free, basically).

Oh and you ain't **** if you hate on Alive either. Masterpiece.

It would usually irritate me because it affects how the first listen is but in this case I don't mind since it's not meant to be a cohesive album that tells a story: it's an album of leftovers.

Alive > Reaper > Cheap Thrills > Bird Set Free > One Million Bullets

The last two are a bit boring and very "Sia". That last thing would have been a good thing up to around 2011, but right now it is a bit awful.

The last two are by far the best. They aren't instant and don't have the predictably gigantic choruses, but they're all the better for it.

The fact that this is just an album of leftovers is pretty lazy. Like, Sia hasn't even taken advantage of that.

She could have mimicked the artists that the songs were intended for or rework the songs to create a cohesive album.

Instead she just done the same thing she did last era.

i think it's been stated many times that Sia just doesn't care she just wanted to be a songwriter for pop artists now, and tbh im happy with having new Sia songs cause i love her voice so much.
