No, if you would actually read what I am saying. I am insisting that Barack Obama - the chief commanding officer of your country - could have done more during his presidency when it comes to gun laws. That's not even debatable.
And don't try to school me on congress, lobbying, and the Republican Party. I already know.
Like I said, I am a big supporter of Obama and I believe has been a much better president than Fox News would have us believe. Nevertheless, his stance against the right to bear firearms has not been one that is strong enough. Of course, he has made speeches about anti-gun violence and his stance against the law in general, but he has not campaigned enough or dedicated enough time to its eradication. At the same time, he has managed to get bigger issues in terms of foreign policy passed through congress, despite the majority of Republicans disagreeing with his stance on most of the issues. I'm not saying that he could have changed the law, I'm saying he could have done more. How anyone can disagree with that is beyond me.
