Shortly after posting this picture on instagram, Selena joined Ariana Grande on stage at her LA concert for a short medley. After Big Sean rapped Right There with Ariana, Selena joined the two on stage and they performed Selena's new single "****ed Up". Ariana sang Jhene Aiko's verse. This is the first live performance of Selena's single. After the trio performed F'd Up, Sean left the stage as Selena and Ariana sang Ariana's song from her album Yours Truly, You'll Never Know. There was once a time that these girls HATED each other. Guess things change
Last quarter, Céline Dion shocked the world with her switch to a more Urban sound for her upcoming album '#TurntUp.' With controversial performances and an anticipating tracklisting – Céline proved she had her eye set on the prize. But with a #6 peak and failing to sell one million copies after several weeks, the lead single "Ratchette" was never the hit it was worked to be.
With Georgie Skai managing the CAL industry, Revolution Records took a break. Now, Céline remains the only star from the previous quarter on Revolution Records' roster. Joined with M.I.A. and new artists Emily Wilson, Shanaynay and Double G the label has high anticipations for new material release.
Revolution Records decided to restart the '#TurntUp' era around two weeks early, where "Ratchette" was originally scheduled to be re-released on the 23rd. With early looks, Céline has a chance of claiming a Top Three hit on the Urban Chart and possibly a Top Five hit on the overall Singles Chart. Her prediction with "Ratchette" currently stands at 270-290k, due to unavailable TV promotion in the UK. However, Revolution Records announced that from now on they would like to have singles grow their way to the top – like Miley Cyrus's "Free Falling" did this summer when it barely made the chart at #10, climbing to #6 then peaking at #3.
Céline took to the stage in Hyde Park to perform a brief concert for her fans, to promote her re-release and to pay tribute to her ex-label mates. The concert had a turnout of 6.500+ people, where over 30 critics attended the event for local papers, blog and such to review the show.
“Are you ready London… to get... turnt up?”
Miley Cyrus - Turnt Up (Tribute)
"This is my #1 inspiration and my favorite song which she’s ever recorded — which happens to be the title of my new album. This is called “Turnt Up” by Miley Cyrus.”
*An extended mix of “Turnt Up” started playing as the fog from the stage began to clear and the spotlight shined on Céline. The crowd screamed for her presence and she shouted the cue to start the song. Céline strutted around with back-up dancers wearing a white crop top along with skin-tight black leather pants and very little make-up. Céline began drinking beer on stage as well as giving one of her back-up dancers a brief lap-dance towards the second verse. She minimized the racy tactics on this performance keeping it simple and fun for the crowd to watch. Many of the Smilers in the crowd sung along with Céline and the rest of the spectators just enjoyed themselves at the concert. Céline ended her opening performance by lighting up a cigarette and winking to the crowd*
She continued to smoke her cigarette just a bit as the stage was being quietly shifted into less props. “It’s so good to be back London,” she exclaimed to the crowd as they cheered. “I remember the last time I was year a couple of months ago. Well… that was a ****ing mess. I hope you guys have some fun tonight and just let go,” as Céline gave her cigarette away to a dancer and a mic-stand was set up. “I know a lot of you guys miss my old music, so I thought tonight I should bring some back.”
Céline Dion - The First Time (Ever I Saw Your Face)
“I think you’ll know this one when you hear it.”
*The instrumental slowly began to play as Céline smiled and the crowd was astonished at her selection. She sang very softly, showing that she still has the chops to put on a spectacular vocal performance. She raised her arms up to wave them slowly, with the crowd following. The crowd began to sing the lyrics back in a very soft manner. The performance was rather very simple and reflective — something Céline has not done in ages. The crowd gave her wild applause when she finished*
“Thank you so much. Now… this is about a little rumour Canada Magazine tried to drop on me last quarter. Well, **** ‘em I’m not pregnant.”
Adele - Rumour Has It (Cover)
*The loud bang of drums for the instrumental started, flowing in and out*
Céline sat on a stool and when the bangs behind to fade out, Céline whispered, “Rumour has it Barack Obama is a pressed bitch — don’t tell him I said that… shhhh…”
*And the instrumental began to play as all the dancers were circling around Céline. One brought a condom, in which Céline threw into the audience - the other was a Hello Canada! magazine featuring her pregnancy rumor, in which she ripped and burned - and finally some lipstick in which she put on. She got up and began to jump around getting real feisty and pressed at all her critics. She went into the Critics’ Section and ripped off a man’s tie, throwing it somewhere else in the crowd. Although the critic was amused, the others didn’t seem too happy about her antics. She performed some basic choreography with her dancers, as lights of white and yellow kept revolving around her. She struck her performance by kicking the microphone stand off the stage and into the audience*
Break I
Céline walked off stage and the stage remained black for a moment there. In the meanwhile, a low whisper of an Urban track was being played. It was obvious that some of that brief mix was directly from the album, so people were excited to hear it. The break lasted around six minutes, until the stage was set.
Avril Lavigne - Hello Kitty (Cover)
*The electronic instrumental beamed as everywhere pink and teal lights flashed and all the dancers brought around Hello Kitty dolls. The crowd laughed a little bit, as they understood Céline’s reason for covering the Avril Lavigne track*
“I just wanna **** around with Hello Kitty ahha,” laughed Céline.
*She began to sing the song as she took of her bath robe to reveal herself wearing a skin-tight pink motorcycle jacket over a black leotard. She was going in a bit more on choreography, squatting and popping all over the stage. She took a Hello Kitty and began jumping on it as a dancer began spitting money out of his hand, implying she wanted to get paid for ****ing the Hello Kitty. The whole performance was just very quirky, funny and gave Céline another smile on her face*
“Sorry I was just feeling so horny, and I mean who doesn’t love Hello Kitty! Now… dance!”
Ke$ha - Blow (Cover)
*The instrumental to play as the crowd screamed like never before. Céline sang the verses in an edgy, sensual manner as she took off her motorcycle jacket. She lay their with the leotard looking a bit like Ke$ha, acting like a tribute act. Her dancing and vocals were point, impressing the audience and making the atmosphere even more fun*
Danity Kane - Blackout / DK-Rated (Tribute)
"I want to pay tribute to four amazing women tonight who I had the pleasure of being label mates with. I’m a massive fan of Danity Kane and I wish them the best. Here’s two of their songs with Revolution Records.”
*The instrumental played as a huge wall began to slide out from the ground and Céline pressed against the wall began acting sensual and fierce while performing Danity Kane’s “Blackout” as a tribute. Guys jumped from the top of the wall and they all began to perform Danity Kane-esque choreography truly executing it well. The song transitioned into the never-released album track “DK-Rated” in where Céline began to murder the men with her group of girls and the lights blacked out once again*
Break II — Krewella Tribute
During the break, a mix of Krewella’s two singles “Never Wake Up” & “Like It Loud” were played and got the crowd very happy. An instrumental overlaid the two tracks at a point, which was rumored to be for “Don’t Stoppe” since Krewella produced the track for Céline. The crowd began to have more fun, as the critics continued taking notes.
“London… my life, is now a circus.”
Britney Spears - Circus (Cover)
*The stage was set up like a circus. Céline was high on a podium with a chain leash holding all her dancers dressed as animals about fifteen feet below her. She executed her vocals precisely as the crowd began screaming many inappropriate words. Eventually in the performance, she released the leash and then she slid down a pole to get to the stage floor and performed the rest of the choreography. She stuck her finger up, making a statement that she’s living in a circus and people expect her to behave a certain way, but she can do whatever she feels. She ended the performance with her hand raised high and her middle finger facing the critics*
“But with a circus, you need fashion…”
Lady Gaga - Fashion (Cover)
*Céline removed her long black lab detective coat to reveal her black shorts and red top looking like a complete bitch. Synth chords from Gaga’s “Fashion” from the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack began to play. Céline strutted like a robot, where mannequins filled with her old signature styles were displayed. Céline began to cry while performing, as she began reflecting on her past life. The performance was rather a tribute to herself and her love of fashion*
“I just wanted to say, thank you so much for coming tonight. I have three more songs to go, so let’s get it done London!”
Céline Dion - My Heart Will Go On
*A riveting performance of the classic Titanic theme was performed, with spot-on vocals and dramatic lighting. Electric guitars screamed to make Céline’s performance truly memorable and dramatic. The critics took positive note and seemed to be surprised at her ability to still sing her previous singles. Cêline held up a heart as she walked off stage when she had completed the portion of the concert*
Break III
The final break was consisted of five minutes, where all the dancers cleared the stage and a curtain dropped with Céline.
Kelis - Milkshake (Cover)
*Céline began to twerk as she was in a diner-esque setting with many waitresses licking cherries and dancing to the song. Céline had fun with performance, as did everyone in the crowd. Céline gave some Egyptian type of dance which got people laughing, since obviously she was just flat out drunk. Céline took more beers and began to wreck the restaurant just a bit by being a little unstable. The crowd was dying of laughter as for some of the critics were laughing too. Céline raised a “milkshake” at the end and everyone raised up their phones*
“I’m broke. I’m a *****. I wanna dance. I wanna drink. I’m like the **** basically, because I’m ****ing ratchette.”
Céline Dion - Ratchette
*Poles were shown, a huge catwalk unveiled and Céline took off her faux fur jacket to reveal her skin-tight black onesie and began to walk the runway. She had multiple guys on the floor of the runway, where she walked on top of them to get through to the end. Strippers began to do their thing on the peoples, while the dancers popped, locked, worked and twerked to Céline’s re-release. Her vocals were fab as usual, with her rhythm being on-time and making the whole performance amazing*
When Barbara’s vocals played, Céline shouted a, “**** that!” and began to sing the chorus as Barbara’s verse was skipped.
*Céline got money, whips and all things sexual as she went in on really inappropriate choreography. She ended the performance by throwing the microphone into the audience and getting lifted by her dancers*
Justin Bieber was interviewed with Access Hollywood on his new Christmas album, and his plans in promotion...then he let Vanessa Hudgens come to stage and sit with him. In the past, Justin Bieber & Vanessa Hudgens worked together on the movie 'Fast Times at University' he did while finishing his album era 'The Complete Dream'. Justin and Vanessa announced they were working on something special, and the fans would see it real soon! They were also seen...being quite close to each other laughing and hugging, and paparazzi supposedly saw a kiss on the cheek. With it basically known months ago Biebs and Grande took a slight break, does this mean they've officially moved on? Even more ironic, Ariana was seen with Selena Gomez -- Justin's first "evil" ex.
Anyways, here was some of the interview -- the rest is available at AccessHollywood.com!
Q: So Justin, now that you've invited Vanessa are you guys doing anything together? Or is she just visiting you?
Justin: Well we're definitely working on something. The fans are gonna see it soon, and it's gonna be hot I'mma tell you. It's gonna be the new thing on the block, and it's just gonna be exciting. Can't wait to reveal it! *Justin looks at Vanessa, and they start laughing*
Q: Your album "Christmas Weekend" is now available, how do you feel about the support so far?
Justin: I'd like to take a minute to thank them for so much support through so much time. It's amazing, I can keep doing stuff and knowing it will be there for my fans to eat up. Not lots of people can easily just say that proudly.
Q: Speaking of new releases...do you plan on doing anything after the Christmas album?
Justin: Everyone keeps asking me and all, like they secretly know something haha. But yeah, I've been working on some stuff. I can't just have a Christmas album and take a break. You need a real studio album before a break, so I wanna get my fans some new normal material.
Selena Gomez feat. Big Sean & Jhene Aiko
****ed Up
Release Date: December 8th, 2013
Genre: Urban/Pop/Indie
Writers: Selena Marie Gomez, Sean Anderson, Jhené Aiko Chilombo
Production: Selena Marie Gomez, Mike Dean, Key Wane
****ed Up is very story telling. It's like Trapped In The Closet, except there are 3 of us telling our sides of the story and it isn't comedic. I'm the girl who gets cheated on, Jhene is the girl who Sean cheats with but doesn't know it until I do my part of the song. She finds out she gets played too. Sean is the guy who plays us, and at first his parts of the song sound like he's apologizing to us, in a very playerish way, but still apologizing and we eventually both forgive him, and in the end the listeners find out he still plans on playing us both and another girl. But me and Jhene don't get to hear that part. It's like we're having a conversation. - Selena Gomez
Although if three is too much, I'd say it's more urban/indie than it is pop.
Wait Robbie "Ratchette" is eligible to chart for Pop & Urban, right?
I'd probably say Urban, sis.

Well Big Sean is a rapper and Jhene is an R&B singer, that's why I thought it'd lean more towards urban
See, that's the thing. I feel like if the song itself seems more like one genre, it should be put in that genre, rather than base it on how the singers are. I thought you'd say that; I wouldn't make it eligible for the Urban chart for the same reason Justin's song isn't, even though both have rapping/R&B-style singing/rapping.

Selena Gomez sat down with us here at E! News to talk her comeback, her dating life and her upcoming Oprah Interview. She told us how'd she be telling Lady O what she did when she left Hollywood, and why she did it. She left suddenly and for a LONG time, so I'm sure her fans - and the public - are excited to hear this. The biggest popstar in the world just stopped. She'll also be discussing her relationship status and what went down with NBA superstar Dwyane Wade. She told us that while they remain great friends, it wasn't a good idea for her to be in a relationship. And he understood that. She'll also be discussing what led to her wilding out. The interview set to air next week is set to be a "reviving factor" for the OWN network.
