This "Sometimes" hate is unacceptable. Oh, sure, it's a bit juvenile, but totally Britney sells it, and she's never sounded better. NEVER. The adlibs in the final minute are nothing short of brilliant. And she sings that bridge with such conviction. If it's truly her least favorite song, you'd never know it judging by her performance. Her heart seems in it.
Truth be told, I wasn't sold on Ms. Spears until that second single.

Sometimes is an innocent bublegum teen sweet song and I will not stand for this hatred. I'll assume all of you are joking like Britney when she claimed she never liked it.

The problem with "Sometimes" is its lyrical content.
The music and melodies are amazing, Britney's vocal performance is great and confident, you hear it and its obviously catchy.... but then when you pay attention to the lyrics is like  the cheesiest stupid song ever, is extremely ridiculous, and I don't imagine Britney nowadays performing it without looking like a retarted.
I can understand why Britney doesn't like this song at all. In the case of "FTBOMBH" I think the song is juvenile-teen vibe but in a good way, its about the first love, Brit could be 50 years old and perform this song and it would be cool because no matter how old we are, we all remember our first love and is sweet without going to the extremes of cheesyness of "Sometimes".
Actually "FTBOMBH" being a 4th single was a bigger hit in US than "Sometimes" the follower of "BOMT".

| AVERAGE SCORE: 5.28/10 | - Darkchild really dropped the ball on this one. The production isn't imaginative at all and Jessica Biel's acting is more believable than Britney's delivery. The song is just not Britney. It almost sounds like a fun cover when you listen to it while watching the badass music video. 2/10

| AVERAGE SCORE: 5.32/10 | - Britney's verse is genius and better than Rihanna's, and I much prefer Britney's seductive to Rihanna's aggressive approach. Britney's chorus ruins it. It sounded much better though when they performed it at the Billboard Music Awards, when Britney gave Rihanna her most iconic performance since 'Hero.' Only Britney can overshadow the world's biggest popstar. 4/10
