She would do incredibly well to sell 400k. She's hasn't been huge out the gate so far, so until we have evidence to the contrary it's just best to be relatively modest in making predictions.

Britney has had 12 years to accumulate a devoted fanbase, and she has always opened to huge numbers (Blackout excluded).

Gaga has been about consistent sales over huge openings so far. Not saying that trend can't change, but it's very unrealistic to think she'll be able to shatter the record like that.

Lady GaGa will pretty much open up with 500K for Born THis Way and I expect her second week drop to be 45%. So theres a good chance she wont batter for life on the hot 100 in the coming weeks.
