She didn't say it directly, but it's obvious. She has a new song out in late 2012, but no album for 2 years. And she never just puts out random singles.
Yeah, it'd be way odd for her to put out something at random just to appease everyone who is hungry for new Adele music. She's the "good things take time" type. It clearly has a purpose, and the Bond movie is slated for late October if I remember correctly. It's the only thing that makes sense.
