The Vita doesn't have any decent amount of games. There's nothing simple minded about it. Its just a ewgular PSP with some new features. Both could be considered gimmicks if you want to use that logic. And just because it has better hardware doesn't mean ****. Hardware =/= Better sales and games. The Vita is flopping, you can't defend it, moving on.

If you knew anything about the video gaming industry then you would know it would be extremely dumb for Sony to not release a console for the current era. That would be like them not releasing a PS4 after the WiiU and Xbox720 come out. You can't just not keep up with the current generation. The whole issue, is that they just royally ****ed up with the handling of the Vita.
The 3DS is a gimmick, nothing you say will change that FACT. It's a DS with basic ass 3D integrated and slightly better graphics that hardly even catch up to the PSP's capabilities much less the VIta's. All that the Vita needs is a better game selection. The 3DS was in a similar situation in the beginning of it's run, which is something many forget. The 3DS didn't get the ball rolling until the price drop and the release of Monster Hunter in Japan.
And yes, I can defend the highly superior Vita and drag yo ass while doing it. Holla back
