I agree with the whole anti-men persona, I find it a much more polished up version of Cowboy Casanova.
However thinking about Carrie without Boy Bashing songs is like thinking of Taylor without songs about love.. it just cannot exist!

It's already my most played song on my iPod with close to 700 plays..

Glad to see Carrie is still selling well on iTunes! Really sucks that her label didn't plan this better to release the song on iTunes at midnight this past Sunday and maybe send it to radio the week prior. She's not going to have enough sales from just 3 days to get her a Top 20 debut on the Hot 100. Her airplay is too small. Had they released the song on radio a week before and dropped it on iTunes at midnight on Sunday, they could have potentially had about 15-20 million AI combined with at least 180-200k in sales for a nice debut maybe even in the Top 10 on the Hot 100. Very, very stupid on the label's part, IMO.

If the song crosses over to Hot AC/Pop of course she has the chance to get back up there on the Hot 100, but still, she's a high profile artist and deserved a proper shot at reaching a really impressive debut.

I can't stand Taylor Swift... but from personal reasons. She grew up in my hometown and went to a rival highschool... and unlike most people from Nashville/Hendersonville, I actually knew her and she was a bitch.

Martian, the other airplay is coming from other formats, we can't know which ones yet, but i'm guessing some Hot AC and Pop stations!

I think she's going to climb into the Top 10 though.
After this full weeks or sales + airplay is over she's going to at least make Top 20.

As for Carrie Underwood and "Good Girl", I really love the energy and passion in her vocals on the song. It's super catchy, and while I don't see it being as big a crossover hit as BHC, I still think this has the potential to be a Top 30/20 hit on Top 40 radio.

I think by the end of the year she'll be close to 2 million. I would say between 1.75 and 2.0M sounds reasonable.
