I appreciate her FINALLY saying something but I'm just disappointed with how she constantly makes it out to seem like she's a victim. I get it. You are a victim but you keep making it like you want sympathy from all of us. I mean, I love you Gaga and I sympathize you but you need to realize that your ARTPOP material itself isn't that strong (even though some songs are just SUPERB like Gypsy, GUY, MANiCURE, etc.) and your image is also in need of repair so please accept criticism when it's constructive. Some of you are doing too much. The era has been mishandled because no one knows what they're doing. No one is looking out for Gaga either. When you have a client, you have to take care of her for her best interest.

She's really become insufferable with this whole self-victimization. The minute she has an odd bump in her career, she makes herself out to be the Jesus Christ of pop music: devoid of a single mistake, and being unjustly "betrayed" by people she thought were loyal friends.

...All the while, ignoring the fact that the biggest issue is the MUSIC. This era was dead the minute Applause started leaking. Yet, she doesn't seem to think that the MUSIC is even slightly to blame, which shows the depth of her delusion.

How anyone can have faith in her to fix anything when she doesn't even know the real problem is beyond me.

I agree she needs to really sit down and think, for herself. Enough of the business drama, enough of the celebrity/management spats and enough of the online crap she reads.

She had surgery and other issues this year, she was tired but excited to come back. I like ARTPOP but the era has been a mess. I want her to comeback with the music standing for itself and her excitement to be authentic but calculated.

The production is good enough, and the melodies are solid.

But 3/4 of the songs are ruined by her tacky, mumbled lyrics, and her singing about exceedingly stupid **** that only hard core fans will tolerate, if ever appreciate. And Applause set that whole "culturally tone deaf" feel for the era.

Chorus of venus could be so huge if added a few times and handled properly. But it was totally ruined by the extreme short of chorus and the damn bridge. She has ruined such a good song.
