I'm reading her Wiki article now and it's amazing how much success and impact she had in such an obviously short career Behind only Shakira and Gloria Estefan in terms of top-selling Latin artists.

Now, these are legends. I own all of their stuff on CD (and even the yellow box-set, which is still sealed). So many great tracks, especially in their IV album. Black Dog is even more amazing than Stairway to Heaven.

Gabegabe convinced me to listen to Ain't It Fun earlier this year and I have to admit, it was actually quite enjoyable.
They aren't really my style though, so I've been hesitant to dig any deeper into their discography.

I'd listen to Paramore and Brand New Eyes. I loved their first two albums back in middle school early/high school too, but now they sound so immature. I barely listen to those anymore.

Interesting Blondie comparison though! Paramore/Hayley have been compared to No Doubt/Gwen a bit (not musically, but in most other aspects), who themselves have been compared to Blondie/Debbie a lot.

Quite possibly one of the biggest pop idols of our generation. He's the perfect example of celebrity eclipsing his status as a musician in a very positive way.
