Most of the reviews seem to focus on her personal life and not the music. It's a shame that they can't separate the two cause sonically this is her most intriguing and exciting album yet. She's managed to encompass all the elements of who Rihanna is and blend it into one album. I wish people could just see past the CB thing though.

Critics, in time, will learn to appreciate one of Rihanna's best albums to date.

It's only because of the iconic Chris Brown collab that it's being rated so lowly.

At least the general public agrees that the album is good

It should rebound within the next couple days. Some of the reviews it got is ludicrous. I believed it would be in the 70s earlier on but failed to take into account how heavily all the publications looked into the Chris Brown drama. I hope it hits back up to 65.
