When Luo Yin asked to top Gu Hai I literally screamed. The way Gu Hai happily accepted the offer and submitted his ass to Luo Yin. OH MY GOD HELP ME

I'm glad to hear this is popular in China as well. Hopefully the younger generation rebels and overthrows their current government so we get the rest of the episodes
I kinda think the 3 remaining eps were cut and included in the 15 eps we all saw.
Maybe that explains all the inconsistencies in the plot, kinda felt chopped and screwed (esp. the thing between the two irrelevants...now that was weird)
The Tiananmen Square protests of 2016 were student-led popular demonstrations in Beijing, sparked by the government's censorship of the gay-themed web series Addicted. The protesters called for government accountability, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, the DVD release of the full first season of Addicted, and a second and third season of the series. After three weeks of peaceful protest by an estimated ten million people, the government relented and China's reformation began.
Addicted eventually ran for five seasons, culminating in a feature film that brought Chinese cinema to the world's attention. It made global stars of its lead actors Huang Jingyu and Xu Weizhou, who married each other soon after China legalized gay marriage.
I just hope the cast do not turn their backs on the show and poor writer Chai Jidan who managed to PULL thru with the almost non-existent budget, now that they got their big breakthru and have become popular after being completely unknown.

Just like when Gu Hai kinapped him/tied him up to his bed, and then during the next scene they're having a family diner talking about diarrhea and stuff as if nothing happened. Like wtf ?!
i rewatch the series and oh god for a web series and a non popular one the work is magnificent!! the directing, the acting, the script!! i have seen series/movies with huge budget being horrible to every aspect! i cant but salute all the people who worked on this!
I can't be the only one who laughed at the fight scenes though right? When that prick insulted Luo Yin's mother and Gu Hai got mad and pushed him but the guy had a bloody af nose I was like "????????????????"
And the sound effects. Literally sounds like they took it from a video game
I would cry if it was to come true
