EDIT: Oh, they didn't resign my bad. Still, I think Taylor's in the right. The dancers should have some loyalty. Katy can get new dancers.

I completely agree. Don't sign up for a world tour if you can't be there for the whole thing. It's horribly unprofessional on their part. I don't see how Taylor is in the wrong here. She was just doing what's right for her and her tour.

Can you guys read? It states that the dancers signed a contract with Taylor that allowed them to give 30 days notice to quit the tour. They did, and Taylor got mad anyway. Taylor was the one who did not uphold the terms of their contract. And yet you guys turn this around so she's innocent. OOP.

Yeah, I think it's much more likely that Katy is the one putting on this innocent facade. She's as fake as can be.

It was horribly unprofessional for Taylor to agree to the 30-day leave clause and then fire the dancers even though it was in their contract that they would be taking a break to join Katy.

Not people saying "Don't sign up if you don't want to commit to the whole thing!!!231@!" as if part time jobs don't exist in the real world

This is why it is better to keep people's names out of your damn mouth, especially when they are working within the same field as you.

2) Why would the dancers be fired on the spot on an ongoing tour? That leaves them short 3 dancers on a tour that probably had dates in the following days.
3) Why the hell would the dancers even be hired under terms like that? They basically said they were going to quit soon
|
1) Yes she does. Katy, Gaga, Rih, Brit all have control over their dancers. I mean, we've even even seen videos of Rih and Brit at the casting sessions themselves. I'm sure Taylor does too.
2) They weren't supposed to be fired on the spot. According to the contract, they were supposed to give 30 days notice. And they did. However, Taylor got mad so she fired them on the spot for even doing that, if you can't understand.
3) I can't explain. It was stupid of Taylor's team to have this oversight. However, the terms did say 30 days notice, which is plenty of time to cast and train new dancers. So really everything should have been fine even if ALL of her dancers decided to quit. The 30 day system was written in the contract just for that; so the tour can run smoothly amid casting changes. So really there would have been no issues if Taylor didn't fire them on the spot.

To quote the article..
But talking to her, it seems clear that many of the songs on 1989 that are about a guy are about him.

Oh really? I guess facts and evidence don't matter. What you should say is you want it to be Katy putting an innocent facade, even when Katy really is as genuine as it gets (good and bad). I don't Stan for perfect angels but I do Stan for someone who generally is kind and reasonable. Taylor's neither and most people can sniff that out.

Preach. And I have dAncers as friends. They pick up a routine in like 10 minutes. It's not like dancers arent interchangeable. Taylor obviously agrees since she fired them on the spot and (i assume) replaced them quickly.

1) I'm 90% sure the tour promoter would not let Taylor fire three dancers on a tour that was ongoing, just like that. It just doesn't make sense from a business standpoint.
2) I get they weren't supposed to be fired on the spot, according to the story. My point it that, again from a business standpoint, that it doesn't benefit anyone on Taylor's side by firing the dancers on the spot rather than using the 30 days given to find new dancers.
3) Because of the two points I outlined above, I don't think it makes any sense to believe this story 100%. I don't believe there was a 30 day agreement. If there was, we'd have to believe that Taylor, her management, and the tour promoters all acted against their best interests, which is ridiculous.

A Tay stan said there were only five days between the day they left and the next show. And did I see any news articles about Taylor's tour being sabotaged? Anything about bad dancers or a bad production? Nope, it went smoothly. Looks like Taylor's just stirring up **** as always, now that the time is right.

Exactly, and most of them arent about their relationship, but about what they did together and how they are friends now. And the song is still about a girl named Style, so i fail to see why you quoted the article

What business standpoint? If Taylor wants to fire her dancers, she can. Their paycheck is cut off immediately and the new dancers start getting paid. She isn't losing any money, aside from having to run extra rehearsals.
The 30 day agreement sounds very reasonable. Has there ever been a major tour EVER without a single casting change throughout the entire run? Of course not. These terms have to be built into contracts so they casting changes are possible, because sometimes circumstances require them.
