Surely ATRL is not the only place where people don't like the cover. I'd assume that people would feel the same on Twitter and on her site. These types of things have happened before. I'm just glad they made the mistake now. If they revealed it close to the release date, they wouldn't be able to fix it.
Exactly it depends if they are wanting a reaction or if they are testing the waters to see what the reaction is as there is plenty of time to change it atm if they want a better one. But it depends if they actually want it like this but it doesn't fit the theme that well that they had going with the DY single cover though i dont think. Although i don't think its as bad as some people are saying it is.
