Someone dethrones Kylie Minogue for #1 today on Jase's Countdown for 05/31/02!
The Top 10!
10 Nelly "Hot in Herre" (Top 10 Return, Days: 11, peak: #05) +1 -Returns after a one day absence. it just couldn't stay off with requests-
09 Truth Hurts f./Rakim "Addictive" (Days: 29, yesterday: #09, peak: #01 for 2 days) = -stays at #9 for the 4th straight day-
08 Hoobastank "Running Away" (Days: 42, yesterday: #06, peak: #01 for 5 days) -2 -I really don't like the video to this song but the song is good, 8 more days until retirement and I'm sure it'll make it. If it doesn't then it'll beat the record for most days without retiring held by "You Rock My World" by Michael Jackson with 40 days-
07 Alicia Keys "How Come You Don't Call Me?" (Days: 22, yesterday: #07, peak: #04) = -This is really the only song I like from her, true Fallin retired on my countdown but didn't do as well as this is doing.-
06 Avril Lavigne "Complicated" (Days: 13, yesterday: #05, peak: #03) -1 -This has been all over my countdown, there's days that I love it and days where it's only decent-
05 Paulina Rubio "Don't Say Goobye" (Days: 10, yesterday: #04, peak: #01 for 4 days) -1 -Lowet Position yet, I still like it though just as much but there's a lot of competition as of late-
04 Tweet "Call Me" (Days: 02, yesterday: #10, peak: #04) +6 -wow, Tweet's definetly the jump of the day. it's a good jam-
03 Jewel "Break Me" (Days: 29, yesterday: #03, peak: #01 for 13 days) = -stays at 3 for another day, still close to getting #1-
02 Kylie Minogue "Love at First Sight" (Days: 04, yesterday: #01, peak: #01 for 3 days) -1 -and Kylie gets the boot from #1, I still love this song and it was hard to put her at 2 but it had to be done-
01 Celine Dion "A New Day Has Come" (Days: 24, yesterday: #02, peak: #01 for 1 day) +1 -Celine finally gets to #1 after a long streak at #02. I doubt it'll stay at #01 for tomorrow but you never know-
Close Calls
15 John Mayer "No Such Thing" (Debut!)
14 Dirty Vegas "Days Go By" (Return!)
13 Naughty by Nature f./3LW "Feels Good (Don't Worry Bout a Thing)" (Return!)
12 Kelly Osbourne "Papa Don't Preach" (+1)
11 Moby "We are all made of stars" (-3)
Close Call Commentary
It's all about the wannabes today as 2 of them return. John Mayer finally debuts and Dirty Vegas returns after being on once at #15 about a week ago. Naughty by Nature and 3LW return after a one day leave. Kelly Osbourne hangs in there and Moby falls out of the top 10 after a 5 day run getting up all the way to #5.
Fall Offs
311 "Amber" (from #15)
Weezer "Dope Nose" (from #14)
Incubus "Warning" (from #12) gone as quick as it came back. heh
Wannabes
Eminem "Without Me"
KoRn "Here to Stay"
Pink "Just Like a Pill"

Don't forget to vote for your favorite video on Ike's Countdowns for 2002, my own countdown. Vote for as many as five different videos. Who knows? If I'm in a good mood, I can accept as many as seven different videos as long as at least two of them are videos that have not been premiered. Now is your chance to get me to premiere Jewel's "Break Me."

Debuts! Debuts! Debuts! on Jase's Countdown for 06/01/02!
The Top 10!
10 Hoobastank "Running Away" (Days: 43, yesterday: #08, peak: #01 for 5 days) -2 -will still most likely retire even though it somewhat fell-
09 Alicia Keys "How Come You Don't Call Me?" (Days: 23, yesterday: #07, peak: #04) -2 -There's been so much competition on my countdown and I have no idea where it came from-
08 Avril Lavigne "Complicated" (Days: 14, yesterday: #06, peak: #03) -2 -lots of 2 spot falls on the countdown today, eh?-
07 Truth Hurts f./Rakim "Addictive" (Days: 30, yesterday: #09, peak: #01 for 2 days) +2 -OMG, it isn't #9! I'm one of the few people that haven't really gotten sick of it-
06 Pink "Just Like a Pill" (Top 10 Debut, Days: 01, peak: #06) Debut! -Whoa! Debut at #6. there hasn't been one that high since "Addictive" about a month ago. this is an awesome song and will probably do well on my countdown-
05 Celine Dion "A New Day Has Come" (Days: 25, yesterday: #01, peak: #01 for 1 day) -4 -OUCH! what a dive from #1. It ties the record of biggest fall from #1 which is held by several artists including Shakira, Linkin Park and Janet Jackson It is also the fall of the day. -
04 Tweet "Call Me" (Days: 03, yesterday; #04, peak: #04) = -a good jam, it just didn't move today-
03 Jewel "Break Me" (Days: 30, yesterday: #03, peak: #01 for 13 days) = -same goes for Jewel who has a nice streak at #3 going-
02 Paulina Rubio "Don't Say Goodbye" (Days: 11, yesterday: #05, peak: #01 for 4 days) +3 -goes from it's worst position yesterday to almost it's peak today. Basically because of airplay and I got it stuck in my head. It's also the JUMP OF THE DAY! -
01 Kylie Minogue "Love at First Sight" (Days: 05, yesterday: #02, peak: #01 for 4 days) +1 -Back to the #1 spot -
Close Calls
15 Weezer "Dope Nose" (Return!)
14 Moby "We are all made of stars" (-3)
13 Nelly "Hot in Herre" (-3)
12 John Mayer "No Such Thing" (+3)
11 Kelly Osbourne "Papa Don't Preach" (+1)
Close Call Commentary!
Weezer returns to kick off Naughty by Nature again. Former Countdown Contenders, Moby and Nelly take 3 spot dives while a newcomer John Mayer jumps up 3 spots! And Kelly Osbourne edges closer to the top 10, if it wasn't for Ms. Pink debuting she would've made it.

Naughty by Nature f./3LW "Feels Good (Don't Worry Bout A Thing)" (from #13)
Wannabes
Boxcar Racer "I Feel So"
Our Lady Peace "Somewhere Out There"
Anastacia "One Day In Your Life"
