She is slaying. Selling 20k in Brazil on its first day is impressive to me. Her WW numbers will be big. She might not be one of the biggest album artists but she can definitely sell singles.

Yes. Haters are just pressed and are happy even for first predictions. Their only chance to drag her this era.
Selena is Number 1 and you're dragging her? EVERYONE's sales are going down, WHY would you want Selena's to go up? Compared to the Stars Dance promo she had too.
She's been number #1 Worldwide & in Europe for 4 days. Number 1 Artist also. REVIVAL went Number 1 in 38 countries. GFY in almost 70. Her singles are SLAYING worldwide charts with no promo.
Her previous album never did as well in AU, Japan & UK as REVIVAL - SD peaked at 14 in the UK, REVIVAL went #7 the last time I checked.
In AU she didnt have a big hit until GFY which went Top 10 with NO promo.
And the Album went #3 and she has never done that before.
In Brazil SD took weeks to go Gold and her previous albums months - with REVIVAL it took a day.
She is also slaying radio & streaming like never before.
She will be the only Latin Artist to have 2 Number 1 albums back to back, if this hits Number 1. Highest female debut this year with GFY. First number 1s on Billboard charts with GFY also. No point of mentioning them as everyone know.
So she has been doing a lot better. And her albums/singles have always had longevity and not first weeks sales. For the singles that changed, I guess for the album still the same.

Tbh, I was expecting The Game to do a lot more since rap sales more.

Sales climate has nothing do to with the fact those numbers are TRAGIC.

She apparently hasn't improved her selling power since Stars Dance. If it wasn't for weak sales, she would still barely match 90k.

Even Halsey, whoever she is, managed to sell more. She did that without 50M fans on Facebook, 45M fans on Instagram, constant radio plays, TV appearances etc.

Looks like the saying that "talent always wins" reflects reality tbh. The GP probably doesn't treat Selena as a legitimate singer. Rather like a former Disney-actress/Bieber's girlfriend/Celebrity.

Let's see what happens to Demi. This will be critical for this situation.
