Like someone said, for it's time of release it was HUGE. You are used to so many kinds of videos now. But it used eccentric choreography, short film method, amazing makeup work/set, etc. It was a huge production for a music video. Cost over $500k back in early 80s.
It's nothing special to you, because you've seen so many different types of videos. But, at the same time (assuming) you may think "Bad Romance" is epic...when it's nothing more than an average video with an interesting concept and outrageous outfits.
im pumped for the news abt telephone which could be aired anytime during Oscars!!
