I agree. But race is such an emotional topic and it being discussed through text is never a good idea. Because there is no emotion behind these words so things can easily be misconstrued etc...

I had a debate with my fellow (privileged) white best friend, over poverty and police brutality in the black community. He thinks that criminals should be killed instead of being locked up because of taxes. And he was saying that its okay for the government to ignore poor black communities because its up to them to improve, not the government.. And he was defending police brutality because of how some black people act.

I guess some people just don't know that its like.. It was interesting hearing his prospective though.
