That usually comes with pastors of mega-churches. There are PLENTY of pastors not living the lavish lifestyle that a lot of non-believers think they're living.
What is consider a mega church? I think my old church prob has like 500 members.

Like it makes me mad, they have a scholarship program but only for 5k. Like what?? You driving around in a 200k car but can't pay for someone's college? But next Sunday complaining about how blacks need to go to school and get an education.

My pastor drives nice cars too. But our church is like a franchise with churches around the world and across the country, and it has it's own television network, public transport, the flagship establishment is owned/bought land with beautiful sound system, canteen etc. So I know that money is being spent well
I've watched so many religious debates and seen interviews from a lot of biblical historians. There are so many inconsistencies and logical impossibilities in the Bible that I've decided I'm not a Christian anymore. You'd be surprised the amount biblical historians who are atheists, b/c the facts just don't bear out.
I think a lot of Christians haven't really read or care to deeply read the Bible. They just have a quick shorthand of "being nice" and "ten commandments". They also selectively choose to follows scriptures they want that don't conflict with modern values.

Thousands. For instance, Bishop TD Jakes has about 30,000 members. Of course they're all not there at once. His sermons are broadcast on TV and online, too.

For example, there are some scriptures that purport to be eyewitness accounts to single events, or events in the same time frame. However, the passages are dated to be written hundreds of years apart.
The Noah Arch's story is literally impossible. If all the animals of the world, or the majority were in one place at a certain time, you would see fossil evidence of the animals migrating to where they are today, but we don't.
Let's start with the fact that the entire Old Testament is a collection of fiction stories that are unethical & impossible. Yet everyone runs with them as if there's concrete evidence.
Then there's no evidence of Jesus Christ ever being alive & that there's no proof if that was even his real name if he actually did grace Earth's presence.
Also, the Bible was not written to be one story. It was structured by dozens of books written by various authors who weren't even present during the time of the events. Scholars had to sit & fish through each book to see which one fit the story they wanted portrayed.
Plus for me, there are so many religions in the world. Even if I believe that a higher power created the universe, I had no reason to choose Christianity over the other religions that believe the same thing.
I feel the same way sometimes. I look black, to me, but others usually mistake me for Spanish or White. My mom is light-skin and by my dad being Greek, I have 0 dark features.
