I need context to this comment. I actually understand what he means though, but he could've stated it way better. For example, he's mixing up gender and sex, which is common for the GP, but your gender is what you identify as, and sex is what you were anatomically born as.
However, I think what he means is that he's not trying to be transphobic or anything, but someone who was transgender tried to make a move on him, and he must have felt violated or something. It doesn't mean that he's not necessarily transphobic, it just means that he's not interested in any type of sexual thing with a transgender woman. It doesn't mean that he can't be friends with them
