So, the things I love about
"We Found Love" are;
a) Rihanna's vocals. Her bajan holiness is trying to connect to me with her voice.
b) Calvin Harris' production, especially the big build ups. It provides a bit of a break within the song, and offers a switch up to the usual melody. Truley melodic.
c) A different type of style for Rihanna. Sure, she has done another European-flavoured song with
"Only Girl (In the World)", but the pure dance/house structure of WFL is new territory within her discography. She killed it, though, with her occasional vocal inclusion.
d) The 2nd verse.
"Shine a light through an open door, love and life, a real divide. Turn away, 'cause I need you more, feel the heartbeat in my mind."
Add the vocals to these lyrics, and an eargasm occurs.
Stanning for this song is not only making me realise all the good things about it, but its making me love the song even more.
