RTW isn't really different from all of Beyonce's other up tempos. I think there is this misconception that RTW is "different" because it has this alternative vibe to it, but lyrically, it's up there with a lot of Beyonce's songs. The women empowerment theme has been a theme for Beyonce since her DC days.

I didn't necessarily say it is that different. To be honest, the first time I heard it, I was almost shocked by how much it sounded like typical Beyonce despite the fact that it sampled Pon De Floor in its entirety. Nevertheless, I'm glad she's trying to do some new stuff. I really like Diplo and Sleigh Bells.

Not really. The demo that leaked didn't sample the fidgety elements of Pon De Floor that first come in at :23 on the HQ. That element is by far the best part of the Pon De Floor instrumental and is the only thing that separates it from any other instrumental, in my opinion.

Please that Pon De Floor beat is old and tired. It has been used everywhere since 2008-2009. I even think the song would work better had it sampled a brand new beat because the lyrics arent that bad.

I don't like the main beat of the production, just that one element, tbh. I don't understand why they didn't make some new stuff, either. I mean with Diplo and Sleigh Bells working with you and with the opportunity to sell it to an audience that loves good dance music, they have an opportunity.
