My comments this week will mostly likely be very very short so y'all don't have to worry about reading too much. I'm in the process of finalizing a new apartment lease and have to move starting tomorrow.

Having a high post count does not equate to having a strong presence in the thread. The female competitors are more distinct and commanding in their posts than the men. I can scroll quickly over the entries and pick out Kitt, Anna, and usually pika's. I'm not the only one who thinks this way and it reflects on judging, but hey, some people don't like following judge's orders.

More importantly, no one picked up on the fact that I've reassigned pika her gender.

But if you give me a proper critique, something I can work with other than "hate that I love you" or " you are sweet" or just use a gif, than maybe I can actually work on my "weak" points.

Katie or any of the judges can't really help you, or any of us, have a stronger presence though. They can encourage us, but this "presence" thing is something we have to bring out of our own selves, in a way.

Basically, Top Members just naturally have a strong presence wherever they go. They're always the one's quoted, drawing attention to themselves, making others follow. They lead...

Now that I think about it, I haven't put my best foot forward basically this entire competition. Truly a shame.

But it's a fine line. boyonce didn't win last year because he was too strong and present on the forum.

When I look at the entries I'll give more feedback this round for those who actually want it. I haven't read the entries yet, just looked at the gifs.
