She's one of the biggest selling recording artists of her generation. She has stacks of cash, the adoration of her fans and an army of assistants to cater to her every demand. Yep, it's fair to say that Mariah Carey, 45, is well and truly living the high life.Since we last caught up with her, Mariah's had even more success, with a massive hit single from her latest album "The Stygian Chevalier", not to mention the small matter of getting married to rapper and actor, Nick Cannon, who she'd been dating for just a month and also having the 'dembabies', Roc and Roe. But how will she cope with answering Now readers' questions? Well, as it turns out, she's not in the chattiest of moods...

Q:Is your voice insured ?
- Peta Masters, London
MC: Wouldn't you insure it if you were me (laughs)?
Q: Which men's fragrance turns you on ?
- Mike Stott, London
MC: Usually less is more when it comes to men's cologne. I don't like strong, overpowering scents but, that said, fragrance smells different on each person, so you can't rule anything out.
Q: You seem to love butterflies - Your debut perfume bottle is even shaped like one. What's the deal ?
- Susanne Elders, London
MC: Butterflies are incredibly inspirational to me. I really love the fact that they represent metamorphosis and freedom. That's why I named my 1998 album "Butterfly" because it it is my magnum opus and that it was a turning point for my personal life and career.
Q: What's the most amount of money you've ever spent on one thing ?
- Bonnie McKelvey, Manchester
MC: I've never been a fan of talking about money. I think it's a bit tacky to do that.
Q; What is your most favourite ballad on the newest album ?
- Rochelle Davies, Wimbledon
MC: It has to be "Disguise" since it is my darkest ballad from a very dark record, which is "The Stygian Chevalier".
Q: What's your favourite food ?
- Carol Browne, Manchester
MC: Pizza, but I'm not allowed to eat it! Being a singer is so stressful sometimes because you just cannot eat anything you like.
Q: What's your favourite room in your house ?
- Cathy Slattery, Cornwall
MC: My bathroom. It's kind of my own personal spa. It's very glamorous and 'old Hollywood'.
Q: What are your home comforts ?
- Vikka Calder, Chester
MC: My fluffy comforter [duvet], my pillow and my bath tub.
Q: What's in your make-up bag ?
- Renee Colt, Leeds
MC: My lip gloss and my perfume.
Q: What do you always make sure you pack when you travel ?
- Olivia Betts, Reading
MC: Sun cream with a high SPF is a must, plus sunglasses and a huge sun hat. And I always pack a lip gloss and bronzing powder.
Q: What are your All-time favourite book and film ?
- Luci Anderson, Whitby
MC: The only book I make time to read is the Bible. I love too many movies to pick one. But the stand outs are "Mean Girls" and "Precious" which features me *giggles*
Q: When did you last kiss someone ?
- Coleene Miller, London
MC: Just now. My lovely husband Nick Cannon.
Q: Prize question. When you get time offf, how do you like to spend it ?
- Claire Chapple, Chester
MC: I don't get much time off, but I make sure there are period on my schedule when no work's allowed. The best way is to go on vacation. I love tropical places and swimming in the sea. The more secluded a place is, the better.
