Cook reveals that his contract with Sony Music-owned RCA Records was up after his second album, This Loud Morning. "It just felt like the time to try something different," he says. "I love the creative control, so we're going to self-release and see what happens from there." He also parted ways with 19 Entertainment, as THR previously reported, and is currently being managed by Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment.
It's a good thing he left because with such a crowded roster, I doubt they would have tried that much on promoting him considering the performance of his last album. But I hope he drops a new CD by August though
The girl was voted off. How in the world is she gonna get the majority of votes if by some reason she gets to the finale? Not only that but the winner is usually someone that never hit the bottom 3. Look how long it took for most of the winners to hit B3.

It's a known fact that a girl will never win American Idol again and this season will be no exception. Top 6 were 4 women and 2 guys. Then Elise, Hollie and Skylar were out in a row and now the odds are the opposite of what they were 3 weeks ago. No one's buying Nigel's "It's anyone's game now" BS, well anyone except for the people that don't get how it works.

This year's has been so different. Usually that way of doing 3 songs only happened for the finale. They've been making them sing way too much each night this season. But yay for Adam's performance
