I disagree then.
Avril did the same with her previous album Goodbye Lullaby. Half of the album were about her divorce but since all of them were too personal she didn't perform them live.
I don't understand what's the point of releasing these songs (as tracks on the album, not single -I'm not asking for that-) but never sing them live. Imo it's a waste.
If the song is too personal to you and you can't sing it live/watch other people listening to it than don't release it. Or just overcome the fear and do it for your fans. (because apparently this song is for us)
