Is it safe to say Mariah's #1 to Infinity era was like her Charmbracelet era this decade in the sense that it allowed her to rebrand herself so she can slay with her next release?
I can see how an argument can be made for this.
The tours should really allow her to reconnect with fans globally and her new projects give her the opportunity to put her creative outputs elsewhere, in areas she always wanted to explore. I don't think there's an album until around 2017 or late 2016 earliest, but there's still a bit more groundwork left to be done before being able to successfully launch into a brand new album era.
I've just watched the Merriest Christmas Special and I have to say.. it is much better than the ABC special from 2010. She looked so incredible throughout. I mean her face, her smokin' bod..and her entire mannerisms are regal. She appeared funny and humble. That's the queen I live for.
The only flaw is that I don't like the effect they put on her vocals (occasionally).
I really want her to have a Christmas special every year, with a BIG production.

I really want her to have a Christmas special every year, with a BIG production.
I would really want her to do one amazing Christmas sepcial, like Judy Garland did, or Bing crosby, Sinatra... big production, some singing, acting great celebrity Guests... maybe if she decides to release another Christmas single (not album, I want some good single)... she should, and I think she is aware of that, work on cementing her status as queen of christmas...

There's great potential in getting the Beacon Shows to TV. I mean, they were sponsored by Hallmark already, though I would prefer a more accessible network. I'm thinking a special where she not only showcases the concert but also what goes into making it and behind the scenes. Celine did something similar for her Vegas shows.

I actually like it better than the Lipsynclet World Tour, especially the Milan date

Her Rainbow era voice was so beautiful, there are standout moments of this tour, but plenty of lipsyncing as well and I don't see how they could officially release any of the VOL performances.
