Seems kinda weird but i'm hoping they at least release it late so most streams will still count towards the next week.

Releasing it on Thursday is incredibly smart.

1) everyone is on summer vacation anyway so when you premiere a video during this season the day really doesn't matter.

2) she'll get a streaming boost to top off her week and then she'll get an even bigger boost for the following week. Music videos also don't usually effect songs until the next day which will be the start of the new sales week. It's a very good idea for longevity reasons.

Hm this is true, haven't really thought about that.
Either way, i'm glad we're finally getting the video and the timing is pretty good, unlike with most of her other videos when she has already lost momentum.
