I think the TIDAL exclusives plan will turn out to be a misfire, for all of them. Well, mostly for Rihanna because her own exclusives have to do with her current project, but overall I don't see it working out they way they seem to want at all.
The plan is to entice/encourage people to take out subscriptions based on the promise of these exclusives, but
1. Most casual listeners, the bulk of the music purchasing audience, don't care about all these things. So we're left with us active fans.
2. Even if all active fans/superfans took out subscriptions, it wouldn't make a difference.
3. Most fans are going to just wait for the material to be ripped/leaked anyway.
