I don't understand why Agnes said they only hired her for 3 episodes but the fans loved her so they put her in 5. Shows are shot months before they air so it's not liked they'd be able to go back to the house and re-shoot scenes to give her extra screen time

Except AHS does exactly this, usually when the first ep airs they're only like halfway done with filming and Ryan sometimes adjusts to fan reactions

But on another note, Roanoke did make the most obvious homages. Amityville Horror, Blair Witch, Wrong Turn, I'm sure there was more but I cba to rewatch them cuz the first 5 are a drag to get through.

There was another horror movie actress cameo in the finale of Roanoke!
Betsy Baker, who played Linda, the girlfriend of Ash from Evil Dead, was juror #5 for Lee's trial.
First Heather Langenkamp in Freak Show, now Betsy in Roanoke! I wish Ryan would cast one of these horror girls in a better role in a season. Heather was amazing in New Nightmare.

Loved this season but the finale was a bit of a let down. I hope the rumours of a boat/cruise season is true but idk how they'd do it without making it piratey.
