Have you ever seen 9 Muses perform Gun before? If not, go watch it, then listen to the studio version. This is the same situation.
Yeah, Hyeri sings that one note for like a second at those parts, but Sojin is doing backup vocals and she does the octave jump as well. That is not a solo. She and Sojin share a part. When Sojin and Minah sing the verses, that is a solo. When Yura does the singular lines in between the Hyeri/Sojin parts by herself, that is a solo. Hyeri singing one note that she doesn't even do live because it gets drowned out by Sojin's voice anyway is not a solo.
ddd at that staging though, that must've been so uncomfortable.
