Based on every other spell she's cast, once she interacts with someone they are always drawn to them / follow her orders. That happened with both the Butcher and Matt, so it's odd the same didn't happen to Lee.
Ryan literally said not to trust their story, which implied it would be revealed in time. So based on his comments, it is a plot hole to me.

No, it's not. She was mentioned as a side-note in episode 3, that's it.
She had no further role in this season. Why should they bring her up again?
Also, like another user said, it could help explain Lees action in the last minutes a bit.
She already lost a daugher, she would never lose another one.
Then those were.. different spells.
It's still not a plot-hole.

You could literally ask yourself that in every season with ghosts.
First, not everone becomes a ghost and second not everyone who is a ghost wants to be seen/makes themselves noticed.
