He said it wasn't over something that stupid in general. It's always been mis communication, as if you wanted to control the game. He didn't even know the formula, and why Come & Get It had such a low position and was never told. Other things he said, and I guess the blog was just the needle of the haystack that tipped it over. He was tired of the cold shoulder in general, and said he was done. He figured you were better off doing things on your own, especially since he's not been around recently.
