As messy as the actual stuff going on in it, that last scene with Flora and Lee when it finally shifted to traditional format was beautiful, and solidified Lee as a top 10 character for me.
But they did her so wrong, and the last minute or so was a wreck.
That was the most legit season of AHS ever. I loved every cringeworthy and symbolic moment and message it tried to show. It slayed.
And shame Chanel couldn't realize all the political messaging in this season with America's obsession with reality tv where we take people's worst moment for our entertainment and fanboy over it and then blow it up and report it everywhere I.E like the election which exactly what this finale did.
A shame that you think irony and a "message" makes this show any better. They didn't need to have FOUR (!!!) different TV segments to make that point (because it wasn't what they were trying to do). Ryan Murphy isn't as clever as you're giving him credit for.
Overall, absolutely fantastic season. Even though Hotel was much better than Freak Show I was starting to kinda lower my standards with the show and settle for nothing being as good as the first two seasons. But Ryan took a risk with this format and proved me wrong, it turned out to be such a great season
