This is what always happens with the Clintons.
Monica's blue dress elected Hillary to the Senate.
Their attacks on her in 2007/2008 gave them Obama, and potentially 16 years of Democratic rule.
This Benghazi/Email scandal has just exposed how wasteful they are, and made out how clearly political and ridiculous all of them are, and by the time the hearing is over, Hillary's poll numbers will jump because they just gave her wall to wall coverage for 9 hours today.

Tbh this could be bad for Hillary in the long run too

If this drags on for months it brings the attention off of her policies and onto her credibility. Even if there's no smoking gun the amount of skepticism could be enough to turn people off. They just need to end this

This obviously is worse for republicans but it's not something democrats should be happy over either

She's not going to testify again because she shouldn't. They still don't have more information. They're still trying to incriminate her and they just can't.

Until something productive comes up, she should not continue to address Benghazi.

This is a good point. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

But, really, everyone needs to keep in mind that most people don't actually look beneath the surface on anything and probably aren't watching the hearing for nine hours straight.

They'd have been better served to let the GOP presidential candidates define her on Benghazi/Emails...that of been more effective because they have direct access with the voters. But they can't do that because Trump is attacking all the other GOP candidates and tearing them down.

Well they would likely get a summary like
"Clinton won Benghazi hearing."

At the very least, I hope this weakened Republicans overall standings.
