Please no one hate on Innocent. That is not okay. Innocent is one of the Lord's best songs. Just pretend it's not about Kanye and then it becomes a beautiful, little song about the trials and tribulations of growing up. Truly magnificent.

I don't even think of Kanye when I listen to "Innocent".

I mostly just set in my room and cry to it cause' of how personal the song is to me.

In light of events that have occurred in the last few years, that song was always there.

It really can be such a personal song. The lines that hit me the hardest are the "wasn't it easier in your..." Not to get sappy but it makes me long for childhood again when everything was great and easy and simple.

And you're right, I don't think of Kanye either but then every once in a while I remember and it takes me out of it for a second. And the fact she opened her performance with the damn clip of it. But besides that, everything else is perfect.
